Cuisinart DCC3200 (aka Cuisinart PerfecTemp) is a 14 cup coffee maker. So it’s great for large family of coffee drinkers. It can also make as little as 1 cup in 1 brew, so it’s still also ideal if you are the only coffee drinker but regularly hosts a large group of coffee drinkers at your home.

Cuisinart DCC 3200 has a large capacity, you can make up to 14 cups at a time! Which is amazing! You will be able to serve a large party faster than most cafes could!
However, you won’t be making that much every day unless you are living with six other coffee drinkers.
What I love about this coffee maker is that you can make as little as one cup at a time! Such a simple feature which most other “carafe” coffee makers lack for some reason. The coffee maker comes with a “1-4” button and you can choose this setting if you are making four cups or less.

2. It has 3 Temperature options for warming plate
You will have three temperature settings; hot, medium, and low. These three settings should please every coffee drinker.
I like coffee hot, so I know my preferred setting, but having options always feel safe. Heat isn’t the only thing you can adjust by the way.
3. It allows you to choose a bolder cup of coffee when you need extra caffeine kick!
You can also choose a bolder cup than regular. Simply press the “Bold” button and you are good to go!
4. It has a large water tank
This coffee maker has a nice and clear water reservoir. You can see how many cups worth of water is inside. You already know it’s quite large, I mean fourteen cups of coffee is a lot of coffee!
The carafe is made of glass and has an elegant handle on the side. It is a little difficult to pour water to the reservoir directly from the carafe. You might have to use a separate pitcher or bottle to fill it up. However, the water reservoir does have the measurements on the side so it should not be too much of a problem.
5. Filters to enhance coffee and water taste
Fellas at Cuisinart didn’t forget to add some little bonuses. Such as the gold-tone filter and the few paper coffee filters they include, or the charcoal water filter.
The gold-tone filter is definitely good quality and it’s reusable. The difference between paper filters and the reusable one is that tiny sediment at the bottom of your coffee. The paper filters will absorb almost all of it.
The reusable filter still does a good job compared to other filters in the market but there will still be a small amount of sediment at the end of your cup.
I should note that some people like to have some sediment. After all, until somewhat recently, pretty much all coffee had it. And that’s what makes me like this coffee maker even more because it gives you the chance to try both options without making a second purchase!
If you prefer to use the paper filters simply get some more once you run out of the ones the machine comes with. Otherwise, you are set!
And of course the charcoal water filter! I suggest you only use filtered water, but having one of these filters definitely takes it one step further. They are easy to activate and put in place. This whole system will give you one real smooth cup of coffee!
6. I can turn the coffee to SILENT mode
I have mentioned some of the physical features of the coffee maker. Let’s take a look at the digital ones now.
I will start off with the simplest thing imaginable that you don’t get with most other coffee makers out there; the silent option!
They don’t call it the silent option though. You will notice the “Tone” button, simply press it and there will be no beeping noises.
It’s kinda like microwaves, we don’t need the loud beeps but they are there for some reason! Well, now you can get rid of that overly loud noise.
Maybe there is someone sleeping when you make your coffee (your spouse, a kid, anybody) or you might have an animal that goes crazy when they hear the continuous beeping or maybe you just don’t like to hear it.
Whatever your reason is, you have the choice. And I love having the choice!
7. I can program it to start brewing at a later time and shutdown automatically!
Two features which are the most useful must be the 24-hour programming and the auto-shutoff!
You can simply set your coffee maker to brew a cup, or up to fourteen, whatever time you want.
For example, you can set it to have your coffee ready at 8 am in the morning, keep it warm for two hours and automatically turn itself off once that time has passed. Meaning you can wake up, have a great cup of coffee and leave the house without any worries about your coffee maker.
Most people are already in a rush in the morning. That must be why so many of us pay for a cup outside rather than bothering with making coffee before leaving the house.
Now, you can simply add a certain amount of coffee from the night before and have a perfect cup exactly when you want it with no line-up! It also is way cheaper than getting Starbucks every day, unless you are using really high quality expensive coffee beans!
