A system like this is really well suited for busy people who don’t always have the time to boil the coffee. Given its neat workflow, Gourmia GCM3350 takes advantage of its timer, to bring your favorite beverage to life when you want it.
What do I Like about Gourmia GCM3350 Automatic Pour Over Coffee Maker?
Design
When it comes to the design, I’ve found out that many users have a love-hate relationship with it. I say it’s more than okay. At first glance, its minimalistic design might attract minimalist people who don’t like anything over-the-top or complex. The whole structure is made of stainless steel, aside from the water reservoir, which is made of glass.
Underneath the water reservoir, there’s an hour glass-shaped cup in which the coffee grains or powder are put. The water from the reservoir slowly drips from above, combining the coffee with water. On the upper right side, the LED display shows the temperature to which water is heated.
The buttons on the right side are also quality, clicky, and are satisfying to press. Overall, it is one sturdy product that should satisfy most users in terms of build quality.
Built-In Scale
The system includes a built-in scale. This scale is here to precisely measure the 1/16 golden ratio with exactly 200 degrees Fahrenheit water temperature. The scale is connected to the display on the right upper side, showing you what temperature is measured.
Minimal User Participation
Another great thing is the minimal user participation. You do the least job when making your coffee, which might be great for very busy people. Those who like making coffee on their own, probably wouldn’t like the aggressive process automatization.
But, for me, this is a gigantic plus. The only thing I need to do is to add some water in the water dispenser, pour some grounds, and wait for my coffee to brew. Given the size of water reservoir and coffee carafe, 33 oz and 30 oz respectively, you can make a lot of coffee in one go.
Coffee Flavor
All features aside, this might be the most important feature – the coffee flavor. So, what is it like? In my opinion, it’s satisfactory. It would be pointless to debate this because everyone has a different taste. But, when talking about the pour-over coffee, this device makes a decent one.

Potential Shortcomings of Gourmia GCM3350
No product is perfect, so here are the shortcomings of Gourmia GCM3350:
No Keep-Warm Function
Unfortunately, the product doesn’t have this function, which to me, is a big minus and an odd decision of the manufacturer. Given the huge size of the coffee reservoir, you’ll probably need to have quite a few cups of coffee to empty it, yet you can’t rely on the Keep Warm function. This means that you’ll have to warm your coffee almost every time you want to drink it.
Water Gauge Markings are on the Side
The water gauge is hidden on the side where you can’t read them. The product picture found online doesn’t show this. This can make it difficult to carefully measure your ingredients.
Water Reservoir not removable
It’s a bit inconvenient to fill up another container and transfer the water to the water reservoir. Thankfully, the tank is easy to access from the top.
Should I Buy Gourmia GCM3350?
All things considered, Gourmia GCM3350 is a decent product. It lets you make a delicious coffee with almost no hassle. Its automated nature is what I liked the most, as I didn’t have to watch over it while it makes the coffee.
