Microprocessor controlled brewing cycle

A microprocessor is used to achieve the SCAA recommended parameters for pour over method.

The water is heated up to the optimal brew temperature and kept steady at this temperature while brewing.

Then it goes into a pre-infusion stage where the microprocessor sends the water  to the filter basket in 1 initial short cycle, and then followed with perfectly timed cycles.

This wets the coffee grounds so that degassing can take place. Degassing is necessary to accelerate the carbon dioxide removal from the coffee beans.   

This carbon dioxide can interfere the brewing process as they can repel the water and prevent it from fully extracting the flavours and aromas from the coffee grounds.

 The microprocessor controls this pre-fusion time, brew temperature and water flow from start to end of the brewing. This is the reason to why it is able to brew the perfect coffee consistently every time.

Rainwater showerhead

The coffee flavor extraction is further enhanced with a rainwater shower head design. This spreads water evenly over the entire surface of the coffee grounds.

Stainless steel Thermal carafe
