- The descaling alert is a factory feature on both of these machines.

- Both feature the fast heat up of 25 seconds for milk and water.
- Both machines have a power of 1400 watts.

Differences Between Nespresso Gran Lattissima vs Lattissima Pro
Now that we know what they are similar at, you have to know that they are a little different too. Let´s see the differences:
- The Pro comes with a touch screen which makes some specs tweakable like dialing the hardness of the water. The Gran has no screen.
- The Pro comes with an anodized aluminum exterior that is durable and sturdy while the Gran is made of hard plastic.
- The capsules reservoir of the Gran is for 14 while the reservoir of the Pro is for 16.

As you can see, the two Nespresso machines are very close in almost every key aspect, but the price difference between them is of one hundred dollars. I guess it is up to you, if the touch screen and the aluminum exterior make a big difference in your experience, I would go for the PRO; otherwise I would stay with the Gran and spend those extra hundred in lots of different capsules.
